Teknologi Informasi adalah ilmu yang berkaitan dengan pengaplikasian pengetahuan saintifik ke praktis mengenai informasi (data yang terstruktur hasil olahan). 

Kegiatan dalam TI meliputi : Record, Store, Process, Retrieve, Transmit, Receive

Peran dan manfaat Teknologi informasi diantaranya adalah

1.       TI memiliki efek besar dan dampak signifikan

2.       Struktur , manajemen organisasi serta proses suatu kegiatan sangat dipengaruhi oleh IT

3.       Ti mempengaruhi banyak aspek pekerjaan/ organisasi

Contrast      :  but, still, on the other hand, nevertheless, although, however
Summary and Conclusion  :  thus, consequently, in conclusion, accordingly, in review, hence, finally, for this reason,

Writing

Guides for writing effective Paragraphs
1.  Be sure that you really have something to say and that it is clear in your own mind.
2.  Determine your purpose for writing and ajust your language tone to fit that purpose.
3.  Know the audience for which you write. Develop a writing stance (mood) to suit the audience.
4.  Build each paragraph around one clearly recognizable central idea. You may, especially in
     exposition (writing that explains or informs), state it in a topic sentence.
5.  Make sure that the paragraph has unity, that it contains no ideas unrelated to the central idea.
6.  Make sure that the paragraph has coherence.
7.  See that there is emphasis on the central idea.
8.  Develop the paragraph by use the examples, facts, incidents, arguments or reasons, comparison
     and contrast, definition, or by some combination of these devices.
